Working at ISU
The International School of Ulaanbaatar is a non-profit, PreK-G12, English-language, international school. We are Mongolia's only IB Continuum school, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). We are also a founding member of ACAMIS, and also an active member of EARCOS.
ISU teachers are fully committed to our Vision and Mission. They teach the whole child, understanding that academic success is inextricably interwoven with healthy social and personal development. Our teachers typically come to us as seasoned practitioners. These people are true colleagues among their peers, collaborating with them for the success of all students, and using inclusion models to meet their varied linguistic (EAL), interpersonal and academic needs. ISU teachers engender excellent relationships with all constituents, they are inspiring in their practice and they are open to continuously improving their pedagogy. They also subscribe to the belief that technology is a tool that should be effectively integrated into classroom practice.
"Working at the International School of Ulaanbaatar has been a life-changing experience for me. First and foremost, it is important that you can find challenges, opportunities, and growth in the workplace."

"Working at ISU is all that I hoped it would be. Our students are warm and curious, making each workday a pleasure. There is also a culture of professional learning, reflection and growth at ISU. I am proud to undertake my own personal learning journey accompanied by school staff and students who feel like collaborators, as well as colleagues and students."
