Experience in differentiating learning activities and assessments for students based upon language needs and learning needs and styles will be a cornerstone of your craft. We are also seeking teachers who understand the central role that formative assessment plays in learning. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their use of such assessment to help students continuously improve.

NATURE OF WORK:
The Human Resource Manager supports the School leadership team in managing HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance administration, payroll support, and HR records. A key requirement of this role is to ensure that expatriate teachers and other international staff are legally able to work and reside in Mongolia through accurate, timely management of visas, work permits, residence permits, teaching permits, and related documentation.
The preferred candidate is a qualified labour lawyer or an HR professional with strong, proven experience in navigating immigration procedures and Mongolian labour law, especially as it applies to expatriate teachers, local employees, employment agreements, employee disputes, disciplinary matters, and statutory compliance. The role requires a high degree of discretion, legal awareness, attention to detail and professional judgment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (Law preferred, but not required).
• A degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field may be accepted only where the candidate has strong, proven experience in immigration compliance and Mongolian labour law.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in HR management, legal compliance, labour relations, immigration administration or closely-related functions
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with visas, work permits, residence permits, teaching permits, government submissions, renewals and compliance deadlines for expatriate employees.
• Strong working knowledge of Mongolian labour law, employment contracts, employee dispute handling, disciplinary procedures and termination documentation.
• Experience working with expatriate teachers, international schools, NGOs, embassies, or multicultural organizations is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English and in Mongolian

NATURE OF WORK:
We are seeking a creative and hands-on Marketing & Content Manager with strong multimedia skills to lead our school’s marketing efforts. This role focuses on producing engaging visual and digital content that showcases school life, achievements, and community impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and manage high-quality multimedia content (photos, videos, social media posts)
• Capture and promote school events, activities, and student experiences
• Manage the school’s social media presence and website updates
• Collaborate with teachers to highlight key programs and success stories
• Monitor engagement and optimize content performance
• Lead the creation and production of the school’s annual yearbook
• Liaise with school alumni and former staff
• Assist teachers and students in using the school studio and media equipment
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and continuously improve marketing initiatives aligned with the school’s goals.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in communications, media, marketing or a related field
• Proven experience in multimedia content creation (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Comfort working collaboratively across academic and operational teams
• Demonstrated experience in storytelling, digital media and community engagement

NATURE OF WORK:
The role of the Educational Assistant is essentially to assist the Teacher in the delivery of the IB program within the classroom. Supporting the activities within and outside the classroom to ensure students are safe, happy learning in a positive and nurturing environment. The scope of this work will be in a primary homeroom class.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Advanced Knowledge in Chemistry and Lab Safety Procedures
• Teaching diploma degree as well as teaching permit is preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in working with children
• Teaching experience
• Fluency in English and in Mongolian
• Able to use computer programs
• Able to work in multicultural environment

NATURE OF WORK:
This position involves teaching IB MYP Mongolian Language and Literature in the secondary school. Your objective is to motivate each student to develop competencies, knowledge and skills in all areas of the subjects taught. Part time load (5 hours) teaching time in a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Actively building the positive learning climate of the school
• Initiating and supporting undertakings which improve the school’s programmes and further advance our students’ learning experiences
• Participating in 3-way conferences (student-teacher-parent)
• Attending meetings as necessary
• Other duties as outlined in the ISU Staff Manual
