Libraries

The International School of Ulaanbaatar Libraries serve students from Pre-K through Grade 12, as well as the faculty and the wider school community. As such, both libraries are busy hubs in the school. Staffed with a full-time Teacher-Librarian and Educational Assistant as well as a Library Clerk, the libraries offer a flexibly-scheduled instructional program that is fully integrated with the curriculum. The Teacher-Librarian works closely with the IB Coordinators and teachers to collaboratively plan and teach information literacy skills across all curricula.

The ISU Libraries regularly showcase special literacy events including author visits, guest speakers, and student presentations. In collaboration with the ISU school community the libraries and their staff champion intellectual freedom and promote access to, and the ethical use of, information in all formats.
