Primary Years Programme
The PYP is designed for students aged 3 to 12. It focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside.
Middle Years Programme
All students from grade 6 to 10 follow the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) which is an international programme designed to give students the knowledge, values, attitudes and skills needed to be successful in today’s world.
Diploma Programme
The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 19, for success in university and life beyond.

Accreditation
In 2017, ISU was re-accredited by both CIS and NEASC according to the CIS 8th Edition standards. We are very proud to be in partnership with both of these organisations, and we work hard on an ongoing basis to maintain a school culture of continuous growth.

ISU is an independent, non-profit, co-educational day school offering the International Baccalaureate curriculum from Pre-School to Grade 12. Our campus is located in the city of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of our host country, Mongolia.
