Sciences
At ISU we teach integrated science from grade 6 to 10, which means we cover the various Biology, Physics and Chemistry topics as a single topic. Where possible we use an experimental approach so students learn the skills of enquiry, analysis, teamwork and evaluation. Students are expected to think critically and understand how science relates to themselves, the environment and society.
In MYP Science students are assessed in six areas:

- Criterion B:Communication In Science
- Criterion C: Knowledge And Understanding
- Criterion D: Scientific Inquiry
- Criterion E: Processing Data
- Criterion F: Attitudes In Science
