Physical Education is more than just the teaching of sports and games. It also encourages students to think about their performances and understand the importance of a balanced healthy lifestyle. Through their participation in sports such as aerobics, badminton, basketball, football, gymnastics, table tennis and volleyball students in MYP PE should develop knowledge, critical thinking and reflection skills. They should also develop a sense of responsibility, as well as interpersonal and self-motivational skills that will help to make choices towards a long-term, healthy lifestyle.
